Heather Johnson, Dental Assistant
Since 1997, Heather Johnson has been assisting dentists in the New England area. She has learned various skills ranging from fillings to oral surgery. She has had a great deal of experience in virtually every aspect of dentistry, including cosmetics, root canal treatment and implants. As her career has progressed, Heather has had the pleasure of seeing many individuals’ dreams of a beautiful smile become a reality.
Madeline Baia, Dental Hygienist
A dental hygienist since 1998, Madeline Baia creates a comfortable environment for her patients. While administering her thorough cleanings, she gives helpful dental advice and creates long-term relationships with her patients.While not working, Maddie enjoys biking, hiking, basketball, tennis, yoga, aerobics, the gym and spending time with her three dogs (Jack, Murray and Sky).
Gail Brother, Part-Time Business Manager
Gail Brother works part-time with her husband, Dr. Brother, as the business manager. She manages marketing, bookkeeping and computer issues, as well as being the main promoter of ideas to make our patients’ visits more comfortable at the office. When not working with Dr. Brother, Gail loves being creative, whether it is painting floor cloths, knitting, and most of all pottery.
“Having a small staff allows for the best communication between us and our patients in meeting their needs and desires,” says Dr. Brother.
Catherine Hansen-Dubois, Dental Assistant
After working at Smiles By Design for five years, Catherine returned to her native home of Paris, France after 20 years in the United States. Missing her family and friends, Catherine has since returned to the United States, and is living in the South Shore. She is still a patient in our office, and we love her frequent visits to our office.
